What is Evangelical like?
We are a small membership church in the borough of Middletown. Evan is blessed to have a mix of children, youth, young adults, and adults in our congregation. We offer Sunday School for all ages. Our worship service is both in person and live streamed. Our church is laid back. We love to have food and fellowship together. Sharing the love of Jesus is important to us. Jesus has changed our lives and we want to invite others have this opportunity.
What about my kids?
On Sundays, we have Sunday School classes for children of all ages. Our church offers a nursery during Sunday morning services. Several times a month we offer junior church to children. Throughout the year we have activities and opportunities for children. Each year we offer Vacation Bible School.
Where do I park?
Evangelical has a spacious parking lot alongside the church. The entrance is on Water street. You are also welcome to park on the street near the church facility. Unless otherwise marked, parking in Middletown does not require a permit and is free.
What do I wear?
Worshippers are encouraged to wear the clothes that makes them feel comfortable. Some folks wear formal clothes. Others wear jeans and their favorite football players jersey. We have everything inbetween.
How can I get connected?
Join us for a worship service on aSunday. Come to one of our Bible Studies or Sunday School classes. Attend a choir practice on a Wednesday evening. Learn to knit or crochet on a Tuesday with our prayer shaw ministry. Have a delicoius community dinner with us.
